ABOUT NONPROFIT BRANDING

  • What is your process for helping us develop an annual report?
    Discovery. Develop. Design. Deploy. We start with a basic discovery meeting to determine what you have and what you need. From there we develop, design and deploy. The development phase will determine the length, format, and content of your annual report before we move on to designing a piece that demands attention and action. Lastly, we work with you on making sure you have a plan of action to deploy your report on all the necessary platforms and to the audience most likely to take action from it.
  • How long does it take to develop an annual report?
    The time from start to finish will vary based on how much of the content you are developing. We've completed simple reports in a little as two to three weeks when all you need is design. For longer, full reports from start to finish, we generally ask clients to plan at least eight to ten weeks. That is estimating it may take up to four weeks for you or us to develop copy, gather facts, and build the backbone of your report and another four to six weeks of design, review, and deploy your report.
  • What is included?
    Standard with all reports: Discovery meeting and planning session Planning Toolkit and page ladder Consulting on report length, format, and content Cloud-based shared resource folder for content sharing Custom report design and formatting Design of custom carrier and remit envelopes Online proofing and review system Up to three (3) rounds of edits and revisions Coordination with printer of your choice Additional services and products include: Copywriting, interviews and story creation On-line digital flipbook hosting and embedding Creation of multi-format social post content for sharing your impact Cover letter or other additional collateral design
  • What does it cost?
    We make our pricing as simple and transparent as possible. Overall report length and whether you need our assistance with copy writing and development will determine the overall price and timeline. Reports start at $1,750.   • Do you only do traditional booklet-style reports?
    While many organizations prefer to do a standard size booklet report, we have done several "non-traditional" reports in all different sizes, formats, and layouts. Unique isn't always more expensive either. Let's think outside the box together if you're feeling extra creative about how to make your annual report stand out from the herd!
  • Can you help us develop copy and content?
    Yes, we have copywriters who can assist with developing report copy. We go as far as scheduling interviews with subjects, patrons, or donors who you identify to help us tell your story from multiple viewpoints.
  • Do you provide photos or video for our report?
    We can help with the purchase and licensing of stock images and creation of graphics and charts, but we encourage organizations to provide as many high-resolution photos showcasing their programs and impact from the past year or consider hiring a photographer.
  • Can you guarantee our report will generate donations?
    We can guarantee your report will make your impact, your story, and your ask visually clear and compelling. But, who you send your report to is just as important when it comes to fundraising. If you do not have a well-managed or organized donor and prospect database, how are you distributing your report? These are things we will talk about in the discovery process. We never want to overpromise and underdeliver.
